Hi, I’m Michael Maddox, former medical researcher and national level rock climber – turned nutrition and natural wellness advocate.
As odd as it may sound at first, I actually quit the medical field in order to help people.
When I worked in emergency medicine, it was extremely hard for me to watch as patient after patient presented with what I knew to be preventable diseases caused by poor nutrition.
So, I decided to do something to prevent, rather than just treat the problem. I set out on a mission, and created Naori to provide as much legitimate nutritional information as I could to everyone, absolutely free.
Now, I’m spending hours every day sharing real nutrition advice, without the constraints that the medical field or other forms of certifications would place on me.
I’ve taken full advantage of this freedom as well as my 20+ years of experience in competitive athletics and self-taught nutrition to create the free 30 Day Wellness Guide. But I didn’t do it alone: I also had input Naturopath and Nutritionist Anna Mitsios!
